Just saw her on an old episode of Chips. Had to look her up. Poor girl was murdered by her boyfriend at age 22. Sad ending.

I saw her in Poltergeist and thought she was gorgeous. I was really bummed out when I found out she had been been dead for 1 or 2 years. The POS that killed her only did 2 1/2 years in prison. The story of how the murder of Dominique Dunne led to Dominick Dunne becoming an author and columnist is interesting but depressing. The last I heard, the guy that killed Dominique Dunne was working as a chef. Perhaps we'll all get lucky and he'll succumb to cancer or something even worse.

So why is she here? What morbid interest could there possibly be in this poor woman?

Grik I didn't create this gallery, so you'd have to take it up with the guy who did. Even so, I don't fault the guy for starting this gallery and, in fact, I'm glad he started it.

I came to this page last night after seeing someone argue that Christina Grimmie's gallery should be removed because she was murdered. The debate on her wall made me think about my feelings toward women who were murdered. I considered how I never lusted after Sharon Tate because I never knew her as anything but an actress who was killed by members of the Manson Family. Yet I remembered being smitten with Dominique Dunne in the early '80's, even though she had also been murdered. So I wondered if there was a gallery for her on this site and came here to check it out.

So my feelings about being attracted to women who were murdered are inconsistent. On one hand, I think it's creepy to fantasize about Sharon Tate. On the other hand, I think Dominique Dunne was beautiful and I can't help being attracted to her, regardless of how she died. Maybe part of it has to do with the gruesome way that Sharon Tate was killed. In any case, I like Dominique Dunne and I will like her until the day I die. The girl was beautiful and nothing can change that. She will always be a gorgeous 22 year old with big, brown eyes and a cute little mouth on a tiny 5'1" frame. On one hand I look at Sharon Tate and think of the words "helter skelter" written in blood on one of her walls but when I look at pictures of Dominique Dunne all I see is an adorable brunette.

We'll have to ask "Wendell" the sole uploader of the pics.

This debate heading towards the UA type

Put the rules to one side. The Rules are made to be broken or twisted to within an inch of their existance.

Like I said - what morbid interest could there be in creating a page for a person who was murdered? What is the point? Nothing nhornack said changes my view. So what if she WAS "......a gorgeous 22 year old with big, brown eyes and a cute little mouth on a tiny 5'1" frame"? Right now she looks like shit I would imagine.

We don't need to ask Wendell anything. He has a right to upload whatever he wants as long as it isn't adult content or photos of a minor.

Grik I notice you left several comments singing Jayne Mansfield's praises. How is it morbid to look at this gallery and not morbid to look at the gallery of a woman who had the top of her head sheared off in a car crash?

This stops right now!!! What is the main purpose of some of these galleries? To honor that person any way they choose to, not cause debates and arguments. That itself is shameful. Yes, some may find the galleries creepy, morbid, disturbing or whatnot and you're entitled to your thoughts. However, at the same time, whoever makes or sees these galleries are entitled to honor that person. If you can't stand that type of thing, simply leave the pages.

Ickmeister I wasn't trying to start any arguments. I merely replied to AverageJoe's comment, only to have 2 people start making judgmental comments about this gallery or anyone who visits this gallery, which is odd when you consider that most of us are considered weird by the larger public. If anyone should be open-minded and tolerant, it should be the people who visit this site. Unfortunately, many here seem to delight in making others look abnormal or bad so they can think of themselves as somehow better or normal by comparison. I have a right to defend myself and a right to to tell my critics that they're judgmental, hypocritical or irrational--at least I thought I did before I entered this alternate universe where a handful of schoolmarms decide what men in their 50's and 60's are allowed to say. I didn't use obscene language other than to quote Grik and I didn't say anything harsh or disrespectful. I just said he was an odd candidate to be telling someone else they're morbid or weird.

Regardless of how it may have appeared, I have no grudge against Grik and I've told him that. So if anyone was upset by anything we said to each other, as far as I'm concerned, it was nothing personal. I was merely questioning the reasoning behind his position. I'm done with this debate.

What would you like to ask me? Are deceased actresses not permitted on this site? If they are not permitted, then I agree that this gallery should be taken down. There are so many deceased actresses, and even murdered actresses, on this site that I don't see the problem with having a Dominique Dunne gallery; why is this gallery offensive, while the other ones are not? I don't find it morbid to have galleries for deceased actresses really, I mean they weren't deceased when the pictures were taken, it would only be "morbid" if there were pictures of the corpse. I guess I'm just surprised that people find this particular gallery to be offensive, when there are so many other galleries that fall into the same category as this one.

The gallery seems fine to me, brother. After all, it's not like people are posting dirty comments.
